Biodiversity object: ERROR Exiting due to failures

chiararikchiararik Member

Hi everyone,

I'm triyng to run RIOS software but I have faced some problems.

I've created the 2 csv table requested (biophysical table and activity classification table) and 2 raster map (one of the LULC and the "Protection Score Layer").

I tried to run the Investment Portfolio Advisor model with these data input selecting the Biodiversity object, but it didn't work.

I couldn't associate any activity with the transitions, but I don't know what's wrong,

Thanks in advance,

Chiara

    Hi Chiara -

You say that you "couldn't" associate activities with transitions - what do you mean by that? RIOS assumes that you are implementing activities on the landscape, and you need to define those activities, mapping them to LULC codes. The log file makes it look like you have not defined any activities, which would cause problems for running RIOS. Please clarify - thanks!

  • Hi Stacie,

sorry for the late reply but I was on holiday!
I've already found the mistake: the "Activity classification table" that I gave to RIOS was corrupted, so the software wasn't able to read the activity chosen, so I made a new Activity table and the software worked properly,

    thank you for interesting!
    All the best,
    Chiara
